“Palms of Resilience” is an exhibition showcasing Toni Scott’s exploration of her identity as an African-American and Indigenous artist. Drawing inspiration from the symbolic power of the king and queen palm, Scott uses vibrant canvases and sculpted forms to unravel the layers of history, shedding light on stories of perseverance that have shaped various experiences. Through her art, Scott challenges viewers to confront their histories, amplifying narratives of resilience and inspiring a collective acknowledgment of interconnected and enduring roots that bind us all.
